Simon Nye is best known as the creator of the long-running sitcom Men Behaving Badly, but started out as a novelist. He has created many other hit sitcoms, including Is It Legal?, Beast, and the updated version of Reggie Perrin. A versatile writer, he has translated books on Matisse and Braque and plays by Molière and Dario Fo, written an episode for Doctor Who, and is much in demand for adaptations, including a new version of Richmal Crompton’s immortal Just William. Simon has agreed to write the final draft of Apropos’ first comedy film.
